Dr Ritesh Gupta

MBBS, MS(ENT), FRACGP
Specialist GP with an interest in Vertigo & ENT medicine

Dr Ritesh Gupta completed his Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2001 and obtained a Masters degree in ENT (Ear Nose Throat) in 2007 from the University of Delhi, India.

Since moving to Australia in 2008, Dr Gupta has worked extensively in the Australian health care system in both Tasmania and Victoria. He has gained an enormous experience during his previous appointments as ENT registrar at Royal Hobart Hospital and Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital. He also acquired skills as an Emergency Medicine registrar at Royal Hobart Hospital. He made a shift in his career to General Practice in 2017 and was highly impressed with GPTT (General Practice Training Tasmania) for an excellent training. He has successfully completed the fellowship training program with Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and been awarded FRACGP.

He has a special interest in Vestibular medicine (Dizziness) and ENT problems. He further attained a certificate of competency in Vestibular Rehabilitation in 2018, which is an evidence-based clinical competency course for Vestibular Dysfunction conducted in Queensland. He has developed an interest in Skin cancer as well. He has completed International certificate of Dermatoscopy and Skin Cancer Medicine in Melbourne in 2020 and further gained skills with Certificate of Primary Care Dermatological Surgery and Procedures workshop in 2021.

He is a compassionate and caring doctor who brings his wealth of experience to the practice. He has always had a vision to start such a specialised centre in order to provide an exceptional quality of care to his patients. He is a member of NOTSA (Neuro-Otology Society of Australia) and is always active with Vestibular education to keep him updated. When Dr Gupta is not with patients, he loves to spend quality time with his family.

Ms Shiye Baker

Bachelor of Physiotherapy,
University of South Australia

Shiye Baker obtained her Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia in 2008. Over the past 17 years, she has worked with Tasmanian Health Services, developing a special interest in the assessment and treatment of dizziness and vestibular disorders.

In 2019, she completed Advanced Vestibular Physiotherapy training through Vestibular Education Australia. For the past seven years, Shiye has gained extensive experience managing dizziness-related conditions while working in the Emergency Department at the Royal Hobart Hospital. She collaborates closely with doctors to diagnose and treat vestibular disorders such as Vestibular Neuritis and BPPV and provides regular vestibular education to medical staff. She is empathetic and keen to provide vestibular rehabilitation therapy to people suffering from dizziness.

Shiye understands the profound impact that dizziness and imbalance can have on quality of life and is passionate about helping people regain their confidence and independence.

She joined the private practice at Tassie Dizziness Clinic in 2025.
